G-MUSC have been working with L’Oreal to create an App for hairdressers. The App was launched on 3rd November and should soon be available from the App Store and Google Play; it is to be published in 8 languages including Chinese and Russian. The announcement was made at the largest European gathering of hair industry elite for the brand, attended by 2,200 hairdressers from over 50 countries, with the aim of raising the standard and working conditions of the global hairdressing industry. You can watch this release here.
A press release was made available and has received wide coverage within the hairdressing industry.
The next step is for L’Oreal to capture data from the App about the MSK health of hairdressers. G-MUSC can then analyse the data and for 2017 L’Oreal are developing a range of tools for hairdressers with the aim of reducing musculoskeletal disorders. G-MUSC will be involved in this part of the initiative by offering their support for assessment of the effectiveness of these tools.
